In addition to writing to students in Sweden and Wisconsin, you also have the opportunity to communicate with Iraqi students living in Syria. They maintain a blog here. It is called Native Without a Nation. Many of the students are your age. They have already been speaking with some schools in the US, and you can see some of the conversations on their blog.
I will be visiting with some of the students who contribute to this blog when I am in Damascus next week, so if you have questions for them, you can send them a message and then I can tape a reply.
